Manual in terms of section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2 of 2000 (PAIA) · Last updated: 11 September 2026
1. Purpose of this manual
PAIA gives everyone the right to request access to records held by public and private bodies. Anchored Solutions is a private body as defined in PAIA. This manual explains what records we hold, who to ask, and how to make a request.

Website: inforegulator.org.za
Email: PAIAGuide@inforegulator.org.za
4. Records held by Anchored Solutions
Records are grouped by subject. Listing a category does not mean the records are automatically available — every request is assessed against the grounds for refusal in PAIA.
| Category | Examples of records |
|---|---|
| Client and engagement records | Proposals, contracts, correspondence, project files, reports and deliverables |
| Learner and programme records | Attendance, assessment and programme delivery records held on behalf of provider clients |
| Financial records | Invoices, receipts, bank records, tax returns and supporting documents |
| Statutory and tax records | SARS registrations and returns, and any other statutory filings |
| Marketing and enquiry records | Website enquiry submissions, mailing lists and marketing material |
| Supplier records | Supplier agreements, quotations and correspondence |
| Insurance records | Policies, schedules and claims |
| Intellectual property | Programme materials, frameworks, courseware and licence agreements |
5. Records available without a formal request
The following are freely available on this website and need no PAIA request: our service descriptions, our Privacy Policy, our Terms of Use, our data rights information and this manual.
6. How to request a record
- Complete the prescribed PAIA request form, available from the Information Regulator.
- Send it to the Information Officer at the email address in section 2.
- Provide enough detail to identify the record, and state the right you are seeking to exercise or protect and why the record is required for it.
- Give an address and contact details, and say in what form you want access.
- Pay the applicable request fee, where one is payable.
- We will decide within 30 days and notify you in writing. This period may be extended in the circumstances PAIA allows.
If you need the record in a particular form because of a disability, say so — we will accommodate reasonable requests.
7. Grounds for refusal
PAIA obliges or permits us to refuse access in certain cases, including where disclosure would unreasonably breach another person's privacy, reveal commercially sensitive or confidential third-party information, breach a duty of confidence, prejudice legal proceedings, or where the record is legally privileged. Where we refuse, we will tell you the reason and how to appeal or apply to court.
8. Fees
PAIA prescribes a request fee and access fees, which are updated from time to time by the Minister of Justice. Current fees are set out in the PAIA regulations available from the Information Regulator. We will confirm the amount payable before processing your request, and no personal requester pays a request fee for their own personal information.
9. Personal information processed
A summary of the personal information we process, the purposes, recipients and cross-border transfers is set out in our Privacy Policy. Your POPIA rights, and how to exercise them, are set out on Your Data Rights.
10. Availability of this manual
This manual is available on this website free of charge, and on request from the Information Officer. A copy is kept at our business premises.
11. Updates
This manual is reviewed at least once a year and updated whenever our records, contact details or processing activities change materially.
